Coach Syian U. Wignal, Sr., MAOL, founder of IGNITE F.C., is a dynamic leader whose achievements span athletics, education, and transformational coaching. Raised in Jamaica as a multi sport athlete, he developed a strong competitive foundation in soccer, track and field, basketball, and cricket, later channeling those experiences into years of impactful youth coaching focused on skill development, resilience, and leadership.

His athletic journey, highlighted by competitive soccer play, sprint and mid distance track performance, and strategic club level experience, laid the groundwork for building IGNITE F.C., a purpose driven organization centered on discipline, character, and legacy. Through his leadership, he has guided young athletes to grow not only in performance but also in confidence, teamwork, and personal accountability.

Academically accomplished, Syian holds advanced degrees in Organizational Leadership and Educational Leadership with an emphasis on social emotional learning, along with a Bachelor’s in Biblical Counseling and executive coaching credentials. His certifications in youth sports coaching, trauma informed practices, and emotional intelligence further reinforce his ability to develop well rounded athletes and leaders.

Through his innovative P.O.W.E.R. and F.L.U.S.H. frameworks, he has created systems that develop not only athletic ability but also character, discipline, and purpose. His coaching philosophy integrates technical skill, leadership development, and emotional intelligence, preparing athletes to succeed far beyond the field.

Overcoming significant personal adversity, from a challenging childhood to caregiving, loss, and physical setbacks, Syian has transformed his experiences into a powerful mission to equip athletes to lead with courage, rise through adversity, and succeed both on and off the field.
